Residence Business Manager
An exciting?opportunity has arisen for a Business Manager to run a busy diplomatic residence in Brussels.
This is a stimulating and challenging role, in which you will lead a team of staff to deliver a large volume of events and hospitality to support the political and commercial work of the FCO?s diplomatic missions in Brussels.You will be responsible for maximising the use of the Residence and maintaining high standards of service whilst meeting the diverse requirements of a range of senior level customers. You will also act as front of house for high profile events and market the residence to potential customers.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of business management in the hotel, events or hospitality sector, with professional hotel management qualifications or similar being an advantage. Customer and stakeholder relations are crucial to delivering in this role, as are strong communication and influencing skills. We are looking for a highly professional individual who can demonstrate an ability to innovate in order to deliver excellent service.
You will be well organised and adept at juggling competing demands, as well as being able to manage a budget and deliver value for money. The ability to lead and inspire a team is also essential.
You will need to have proficient IT skills, fluent English (oral & written) and French language skills would also be an advantage.
You must be legally entitled to live and work in Belgium at the point of application.
This position will be filled on a fixed term contract.Taxable gross monthly salary: ?3444.87
